Here’s to small, slow, steady steps, and great big scary to-hell-with-it leaps, and to forward, onward, upward, changeward. To burdens lifted, shackles shed, coils shaken, routines broken. To wings spread. Eyes opened. Thoughts enlightened. Spirits brightened. Here’s to caterpillars cocooning and butterflies blossoming; seeds sown and fruits grown. Here’s to what’s all around us, and inside all of us.

NEWER AND WISER

The name Okushal comes from the word okusha, of Zulu origin, meaning new or fresh.

Okushal was created by a small group of friends who’ve been restored, revitalised and rejuvenated by their own personal rebirths.

Sometimes these experiences have come in fleeting moments, other times they’ve been languid but life-changing. Often shared, and occasionally very private. But they’ve always lifted our spirits and left us feeling refreshed, re-awakened, reinvigorated.

That feeling of starting anew is a special state of mind, body and spirit. We wanted to do something to capture it. To embrace it. To express it. And mostly, simply, to toast it.

BEYOND CORDIAL

Okushal is more than palate-friendly and easy-going. Made to mix well with almost anything and anyone.
It absolutely sparkles with water. It positively shines with fruit, herbs and spice. And it most certainly won’t shirk a date with your favourite meal or dessert. In fact, it’s happiest in the company of significantly unexpected others, so we encourage you to try something new with it.

GOING SOBER

Non-Alcoholic and Non-Judgemental

Okushal embraces the internationally growing trend of sober curiosity. Millions are finding their rebirth in going sober, and our recipes were formulated for non-alcoholic drinking and socialising. 
Of course, Okushal is equally comfy mixed with alcoholic spirits. We’re all for keeping things cool, cordial and responsible.
